Latest filter !! What could be true.

Hi all,

As you may have noticed for yourself in the latest update many sites are excluded in the serps for no real reason and others who link to it are in.

It makes no sence because non relevant pages are shown instead.

I have a site A.
Site A is listed in the google directory and also in the Yahoo directory.
(so you could say enough credit for at least a top 10)

Site A was listed for a long time no1 on various queries but in the new result pages it is gone. (and many others also)

Site A has no outgoing links...

What i notice now when going to this site is the fact that the RELATED option shows sites who link to another site which is linking to site A.

I think Google did change something in this matter because it does trace more sites who are linked in some way

Let me explain....

Site F ...linking to site G...(not back)
Site B is linking to site G (and not back)
Site B is linking also to site A (A not back to B)

I see now site F....which has totally nothing to do with site A in the serps when looking at the related part.

I think the latest update has something to do with the level between the linked sites.....how many have the same IP blok and the IP from the site itself.

Only by comparing our experiances we can figure this out...

Now my questions......
Do you have a site kicked out the same way.
If yes....do you mave other domains on the same server linked to it.

i have some sites on the same ip-adress, which have the same effects. but other sites on this ip became better.

i dont know. let me analize..

i have 12 sites on the same IP, but none of them has change in Ranking, all of them are in Top 10 and moves one up and one down since many month. Thus they´re stable in ranking. Update has had no effect there.

i think what we see at google is just a not completet index. i talked to some seo and owners of big site, and i mean really big sites and companies. we all see the same google DELETED its index and is now reindexing the sites and relations with an new in their eyes better algo. all webmasters said google did not send for the old sites an if modified since. they have some old pages and they spiders like the is no tomorrow. i think it will take 1 month until they have an good index. sites that were launched until 2-3 month ago are not affected. at one site i saw that there is no cache date anymore where normaly 1969 was. so i think google spiders the web and THEN will update the relation and serps. thats why you are sometimes with your own company name not on top. that would be an explanation why many sites came out of sandbox because there is a new way of serps. big sites/compaies have many incoming links so they are still on top when they loose 10000s links.

so i think just wait and we will see

I hope you are right but i have my questionmarks about the whole story.

Some old ones (listings) are still there but i don't see the new ones refresh again, and again.

I would also not change the site itself who are out now...but verify the links to it and analize the differences.

yes

i know this tool but on some data centers you see but it shows my theorie. on some data centers you have better relation for sites. i see that at some dc some sites are back on top with the keywords and company name. but still missing 3/5 of all sites for the domain.

Im seeing a great deal of sites that were well optimized but in a filter jump from nowhere to top 10. Allegra essentially turned off some filters which previously penalised quality sites. Which filters they have turned off is the big question. I suspect some affiliate linkage, duplicated pages filters have been relaxed.

If however a site has dropped off the map it most likely means that the site no longer matches the new algorithm of google. There is possibly a new link filter relating to links from the same ip c cluster. Uneffected appear to be sites that are classed as authorities. There have been no significant changes at the top for sites that have a good domain popularity. It may be that certain types of links are no longer being counted.

My advice to anyone who has lost ranking on Allegra is to focus solely on domain popularity. Actually the case for every site as DP is 85% at least the ranking criteria for Google. It may be that those that lost ranking had excellent on-page optimization but lacked in domain popularity.

my page have 11500 in site, more then any in front of me.
and still i rank under the top 10, in my top keyword.

i believe that a very importend point is the age of the page, so older it is and allways updated over the years, it will rank on top.

but this does not help otimizer...hm....outgoingt links are importend too, try to add some high pr pages.

Dear Rainer> was haelst du von mehr offenheit.
wenn dir diese sprache fremd sein sollte, wuerde ich diese topics umgehen.
recht einfach *denk*
die welt hat mehrere sprachen, somit sollte man in der lage sein, damit zu leben.
und am ende optimizer dankbar sein, das er seine erfahrungen mit uns teilt.

ich wuerde schoen bloed dastehen, wenn ich nicht die erfahrungen, der weltweiten user haette.
